EXAMINATION GUIDELINES
- Shall have one regular examination followed by supplementary examination in a year.
- If a candidate fails, they can be promoted to next year upto second year.
- A candidate can take any number of attempts with a condition that maximum period allowed is 6 years. However, all previous papers need to be cleared before appearing in the final examination.
- No institution shall submit student average internal marks more than 75%. If average is above 75% it will not be accepted by the State Nursing Registration Council.
- Minimum pass marks should be 50% in Theory and Practical separately.
- Minimum pass marks shall be 40% for English only.
- Theory and Practical exams for Introduction to Computer shall be conducted as School exam.
- A candidate must pass theory and practical exam separately in each subject.
- If a candidate fails in theory or practical paper, they must re-appear for both papers.
- Maximum number of candidates per practical exam should not exceed 20 per day.
- All practical exams must be held in respective clinical areas.
- One internal and one external examiner shall conduct the practical examination.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR EXAMINATION
- 80% attendance in theory & clinical is mandatory for final examination eligibility.
- Admission after 31st October of the academic year will not be eligible for odd batch examination.
- Student must pass Internal Examination to appear for Board examination.
- Student must get eligibility from MSBNPE (Maharashtra State Board of Nursing & Paramedical Education).
- Student must clear all previous examinations before appearing for final exam.
- The maximum time period to complete the course shall not exceed 6 years.

Eligibility Criteria for Examination
- A candidate must have a minimum of 80% attendance in theory and practical for each subject.
- A candidate must have 100% attendance in practical areas before award of completion certificate/diploma.
- Practical experience must be signed by tutor and countersigned by principal.
- Second-year examination shall be conducted after completion of internship.
